A successful ag operation, charter service and tour guide since entering
the business in 1978, Mokoro Safaris has also made great strides in helping
make the use of Air Tractors more accepted throughout Africa. The firm is based
in the northern part of the country during the summer, where they have their main
base of operations, repair service, administration and spraying service. In the
winter the firm moves to the Cape, located in the southernmost tip of Africa.
Jannie Smith, owner / director of the service explains that they have a broad base
of experience with Air Tractor aircraft, having operated AT-402, AT-502, and
AT-602 models. Additionally they operate a King Air for parts delivery and charter
services. Mokoro Safaris has been an Air Tractor dealer since 1989.
