OLNEY, Texas — Air Tractor will host an Operation S.A.F.E. Fly-In with Dr. Dennis Gardisser and Kim Brown, on Friday, March 20, at its Olney, Texas, headquarters. Saturday, March 21, will serve as the alternate date in the event of inclement weather.

The fly-in is open to agricultural aviation operators and pilots in Texas and surrounding states. Participants will receive a detailed evaluation of their aircraft’s spray pattern, along with on-site recommendations to improve application accuracy and reduce drift.

During the clinic, trained evaluators conduct liquid pattern testing and analyze droplet size data. Based on the results, they provide guidance on nozzle selection, boom configuration, and system adjustments to help operators optimize performance and efficiency.

Operation S.A.F.E. clinic activities include:

  • Liquid pattern testing
  • Operation S.A.F.E. program certification
  • Application Technology program (available for CE credit)

Testing is provided at no cost. Dr. Dennis Gardisser with WRK of Arkansas will provide the analysis.
