Air Tractor 40th Anniversary Recognized By Pratt & Whitney Canada
At the National Agricultural Aviation Association 2014 Convention, representatives of Pratt & Whitney Canada made a special presentation to Air Tractor President Jim Hirsch to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Texas-based aircraft manufacturer.
The etched glass and metal shadow box, presented by John Saabas, President of Pratt & Whitney Canada, displays a selection of vintage and present-day images representing the evolution and growth of Air Tractor from its founding by aviation pioneer Leland Snow through its 40-year history.
Upon receiving the gift Jim Hirsch remarked, “We’re pleased to receive this recognition and token of friendship from Pratt & Whitney Canada to the employee-owners of Air Tractor. The PT6 engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada have been a big part of Air Tractor’s success through the years. Our companies both share a commitment to producing the very best products for our customers. We’re proud of our association with Pratt & Whitney Canada, and look forward to many more years working together.”
