5,000 Air Tractor Aircraft Strong
We are proud to announce the 5,000th Air Tractor aircraft to be built in Olney, Texas.
What began decades ago as Leland Snow’s single, unwavering vision to provide simple reliability and real efficiency has evolved into something much bigger. Today, our aircraft serve as vital tools of productivity, helping growers optimize inputs, protect yields, contain wildfires, and support communities when timing matters most.
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the incredible engineering and craftsmanship of our team of technicians, assemblers, painters, and engineers, alongside our global dealer network that keeps our customers flying generation after generation. From the first airplane built in Olney to 5,000 aircraft serving communities around the world, the vision hasn’t changed.
We will mark this milestone with a celebration today. The 5,000th Air Tractor celebration is set to begin at 11 a.m. at Air Tractor’s manufacturing headquarters with opening remarks and a luncheon for employees and guests. Attendees will then toured the production facilities and gather for a group photo in front of the 5,000th aircraft. We’re excited to welcome public officials, civic leaders, and community representatives, alongside executives from Pratt & Whitney Canada, manufacturer of the PT6 turbine engines used in Air Tractor aircraft.
Stay tuned for more.
